We are a full service private villa. Like a high-end resort the villa offers many of the amenities and services but none of the crowds, lines or reservations needed. Flor de Cabrera specializes in celebration events like weddings, family milestone events, Yoga & corporate retreats.

Flor de Cabrera has 8 additional bedrooms between two properties, Villa Florita & Orchid Suites. Combining these properties can be done at a discount. The private community of Orchid Bay where Flor de Cabrera resides also has additional rental properties that can be combined to keep all your guest close by. 

The house has fiberoptic high-speed cable with hotspots throughout the villa. 

Flor de Cabrera is on the North Coast of the Dominican Republic between the airports of Puerto Plata (POP) and Samana (AZS) Each are about 1 hour from the villa. Many guest also fly into Santo Domingo (SDQ) because of the cost of plane tickets. The other major airport is Punta Cana but it is a 4 hour drive from the villa so not recommended. 

None, Once you land on the Island we take of the rest. You have one dedicated villa contact for everything you want to setup: Meals, transportation, excursions, entertainment, spa services, Wedding planning. No dealing with local vendors or having to arrange plans with multiple venters. We got you covered so all you need to do is enjoy quality time with family and friends. 

 The villa offers customized meal plans that are highly rated by guests online. The full breakfast and lunch are served at flexible times, and the three-course dinner is served at the time of the host choosing. Cost averages $80 for adults and $45 for children. Prices may have changed dependent on inflation and exchange rates. An updated price can be given with an inquiry.  Beverages are pre-purchased for guests based on their preferences. 

The first deposit is fully refundable within 30 days. After that this deposit and all future deposits are committed. There are allowances for moving dates up to 90 days before arrival.

You can hold the dates with a one night rental deposit.  For a rental contract and payment form just write to Dan@Flordecabrera.com and request.

The cost is not included but we will help arrange all airport transfers for you and your guest. We do suggest that you try to get as many of your guest to arrive at the same airport and time as it greatly reduces the transport cost to the villa. 

Flor de Cabrera is located inside the private community of Orchid Bay. Located 1/2 mile off the main road in the quant town of Cabrera. This secluded location does have security for the community. The villa also employees a nighttime security guard strictly for guest piece of mind.

We don't normally discount our rate but we do offer a shared donation program. Called Trade for Travel, this program helps local school programs in our area. Make a donation to one of these school programs and we will share in your donation with a reduction in our rental rate. For details just write us. Donations may be tax deductible, check with your accountant to confirm.
